Sellia Marina is placed in a central zone, so it is easy to reach from neighbouring villages and it is a good starting point to get other historical and touristic places. Some interesting places to visit in Sellia's neighbourhood are the medieval district of Feudo in De Seta village, then "Villa dei Nobili" a beatiful manor in La Petrizia village and the ancient ruins of the Roman aqueduct and the caves in the hills made of sand in Uria.

Only few people knows that in Feudo there is the Lambretta historical museum. The museum's purpose is to keep alive the memory of this glorious scooter and to be a meeting-place for all those who collect and patiently restore these mopeds. It was very hard and long to set it up, but it is also gratifying knowing that it is useful and suggestive for new generations.

If you move in Crotone's way, you can follow a route that includes Cutro, Capo Rizzuto island (where you can visit the Dome, the Medieval District, the Fair and the Market), Capo Colonna (Hera's Temple column, a defense tower of XVI century and the Holy Mary Sanctuary), Le Castella (in which you can see the Aragonese Castle, the Penitent Maids' Conservatory) and last Crotone (where there are the National Archaeological Museum, Saint Chiara's Church, the Castle).

Following Reggio Calabria direction is so easily arrive in Catanzaro Lido, Roccelletta di Borgia (S.
